The Side event will discuss the effective strategies to eradicate poverty and hunger in all its forms and dimensions to recover better and achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through the theme” Utilizing Education towards Inclusive and resilient recovery from COVID-19 for sustainable livelihoods, well-being and dignity in communities”.

The Outcome from the side event will respond to the theme of the 60th commission by taken action towards

Inclusive education on modalities for eradication of poverty and ending hunger must be made a top priority and time is now for all to team up to solutions together.

Program Focus

Speakers will respond to the outcome of the event through the theme “Utilizing Education towards Inclusive and resilient recovery from COVID-19 for sustainable livelihoods, well-being, and dignity in communities”.

Presentations will rest excellently with emphasis on Sustainable Development Goal 1 on Eradication of Poverty, Sustainable Development Goal 2 on Ending Hunger and Impact of COVID-19 on poverty and hunger

Each speaker will be expected to address the theme along these goals for 10mins. All speaker’s presentation will be submitted by February 7 to the Commission. (Please send your presentation to ctadaexeduafrica2020@gmail.com by February 6.
